DirectAmp Mastermix (RT-qPCR)
The A2K DirectAmp Master Mix is a pre-prepared, one-step, 4X concentrated master mix tailored for probe-based real-time quantitative PCR (qPCR). It incorporates a mutant hot-start reverse transcriptase, a mutant hot-start DNA polymerase, dNTPs, MgCl2, enhancers, and stabilizers. An optional enhancer solution is included for neutralizing PCR inhibitors, such as nucleases in crude samples, making this master mix suitable for direct amplification of both crude samples and purified nucleic acid. DirectAmp is the master mix used across A2K's direct amplification panels, including the DirectAmp COVID-19 Combo Kit and the Direct Amp Influenza A/B and Influenza A H5 kits, delivering consistent performance without an extraction step.
